MIKE BROWNE

When you pick up a camera for the first time it can all seem rather confusing. You could alway just leave the camera on Auto but understanding the settings opens up a whole new world of beauty and interest.

I found Mike's You Tube videos really helpful. He explains everything in terms which are easily understandable.

Whether you're starting out or looking to improve, you won't do better.

MPB

It's nice to be able to purchase brand new gear but the cost can be rather off-putting, especially if you are starting out.

I've bought a number of used items from MPB and I'm delighted. Everything is tested and comes with a 6 months warranty. Well worth a look.

PARKINSON'S UK

I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2007, my main symptom being a tremor. In 2020, I felt that I had to give up painting because all my horizons began looking wobbly. Parkinson's UK is the main national charity for research and support in the UK.

They also have a network of local branches offering support and advice for everyone affected by Parkinson's. They've given me lots of support and a group well worth getting involved in.
